Looks approximating Verizon and Motorola have to finish come clean with the free dates on that sweet Droid 2 R2-D2 edition; an advertisement next to that display part at the Star Wars-themed festivity V convention in Orlando says it's appropriate to get there on September 30.
Unluckily there's no statement on how greatly additional this mania will rate larger than the regular Droid 2, other than, Artoo's value it.
