We've now been dropped a short note from Verizon that the unique Droid will be getting the full Froyo action at several point next week. Considering the briefness of the statement, it's completely likely that this was terrified together in response to Sprint's EVO news -- but who cares? The more Android 2.2, the better, right? No official word on other Droid variants -- most of which are likely going to see Froyo updates soon -- but we'll be keeping our ears firmly planted to the ground.
No utterance from Motorola on whether or not other Android devices from them will get the upgrade, I also expect that each new phone from Motorola from as of now will have Froyo, but due to the dissimilarity in the User border, that is extremely improbable. Now you see why I am so conceited towards all these dissimilar UI’s, it just messes things up and I must say I commend Microsoft on making Windows Phone 7 a single UI platform.
